Think Like a Royal


I am seeing a beautiful trend towards more glamorous, sophisticated and formal weddings….following the lead of the gorgeous Kate Middleton when she wed Prince William last April.  While every wedding is unique, the casual shabby chic look was popping up at every wedding it seemed….not that there is anything wrong with a vintage vibe but it was everywhere. I am thrilled that a more formal feel is taking hold ~ this is the one day you are truly royal.

Harvest


My husband is making some syrah with our friend who is a winemaker and this is a picture of the grapes the day they were harvested.  They are doing a “punch down”…I love the brilliant color!  One of the benefits of living in the wine country is that when you decide to make your own wine, at least you can do it with someone who knows what they are doing and that it will be good….we hope!
